We purchased a lead and harness for Bella when she was a wee pup.
We managed and still do get alot of use out of this set
As expected, the clips did start to grow shy of connecting on the harness
As there was nothing wrong with the lead, and she can still wear the harness we
came up with an idea, to create an extension without spending more money
Use Two standard keyring holders. Connect one to each side of the harness ( where you would normally place the lead clip ). Connect the two together by using the lead - away we go
Please note:
**Safety is key. She is firmly in the harness and cannot slip out with the extension in. As she is a small dog and does not pull hard, I can use this method.
Because keyrings can come in assorted sizes, ensure the size is right for the size of your small pet
Not recommended for large/strong dogs just incase they bend the rings**
